We are local, independent, entrepreneurial and fiercely proud of it. RMS Media, launched by Rob Smuts in May 1993, is one of the most successful, experienced media independents in South Africa, with 21 years’ of media buying and planning under its belt.

RMS Media’s independence was a key deciding factor in it becoming the African agency of choice for affiliation to a global collective of independent media agencies, Columbus Media International.

Columbus board chairman Bill Koeningsberg, CEO and founder of the Horizon media group in the US says: “RMS Media shares our vision of independence and neutrality, allowing our communication solutions to be completely client-centric in approach.”

One hundred percent locally owned and home-grown, the agency is unfettered by global agency hierarchy and has a BEE Level 4 scorecard.
